Contra Mundum's politics are short, sweet, and simple:
Government's role is limited to: 1.) protecting life 2) protecting liberty, 3) Protect Private property 4) preventing fraud and coercion, 5) To enforce contracts.
Anything (including a jot or a tiddle *) more than what is explicitly implied in these terms are outside the role of legitimate government.
Unfortunately, The US government led by either the republicans or democrats is the polar opposite: It is the very progenitor of fraud, coercion, denier of liberty, and taker of both life, and property.
* For instance, protecting life does NOT include some kind of implicit guarantee of health care, or jobs, or welfare checks or social safety net. Those are outside of domain of legitimate government. The government DOES have a role to prevent my neighbor from attempting to take my life, or somebody else's life, and repelling invasions from other nations.
